Kizer Knife Mad Tanto – V4602C1
The Kizer Mad Tanto by Damned Designs has a curved shape reminiscent of the SOG Kiku and we love it. It’s relatively compact in size and appearance but definitely not in performance. The curved tanto blade shape has outstanding stabbing, chopping, and piercing qualities during use; the hollow ground main belly makes it an excellent slicer as well. The handle is made of black water-washed Micarta and the hemp fabric provides excellent traction especially when wet. Its liner-less construction means the weight is more manageable than a similar knife of the same size. Speaking of size, the Mad Tanto is definitely large enough to be considered a tactical blade and it will most definitely perform at that. It’s a feature-rich design with the action of a fidget-friendly EDC blade.
