The Reate EXO-K Gravity Karambit Button Lock Knife combines an innovative gravity-deployment mechanism with the distinctive curved profile of a karambit blade. Designed by Reate Knives, the EXO-K features a black hawkbill-style blade made from Böhler N690 steel, offering a practical combination of edge performance and corrosion resistance.
The EXO-K uses a pivoting frame and reverse-positioned button lock for its gravity-style deployment. By holding the button and using a controlled wrist movement, the blade and frame pivot into the open position, where the button lock secures the blade. Pressing the button allows the mechanism to be reversed for closing.
The handle is constructed from green oxide-coated aluminium and features frag-texture milling for added grip. A titanium backspacer completes the handle design, while the reversible tip-up pocket clip allows the knife to be carried according to user preference.
For additional versatility, the EXO-K includes a removable finger ring, allowing the user to configure the knife according to their preference. A tan training knife is also included for practising the deployment technique without using the live blade.
With its compact dimensions, distinctive karambit profile and unusual gravity-style mechanism, the Reate EXO-K offers a unique option for collectors, EDC enthusiasts and users looking for an unconventional folding knife design.
