DESCRIPTION

OPINEL No 12 STAINLESS EXPLORE – GREEN is a survival knife by Opinel. In fact, the N°12 Explore knife combines the qualities of hunting and surviving knife. With its handle made of polyamide, its whistle, its cutting hook, and its fire starter, this knife has become the must-have for any type of immersion activity.

Sandvik stainless steel 12C27M
We use Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel. It is anti-corrosive thanks to the addition of chrome and also requires no special maintenance. Its carbon content of at least 0.40% gives an excellent cutting edge. Blade hardness 57-58 HRC

Handle
Fibreglass-reinforced polyamide to withstand shocks, humidity, and also extreme temperatures(-40°C à +80°C). Pealess survival whistle functions in all weathers (110 decibels).
