The Microtech UTX-85 is a radically redesigned out-the-front (OTF) knife, now featuring a contoured handle, updated tri-angle hardware, and a redesigned thumb slide for smoother operation. The integrated glass breaker includes a press-fitted ball bearing, enhancing comfort while maintaining full functionality.

As the name suggests, the UTX-85 is 85% the size of the flagship Ultratech but retains 100% of its cutting-edge capability. This model features an olive drab green anodized aluminum handle, standard black hardware, and a dagger-style black-finished blade.
