The Ki5464A1 Hustler flipper by Kizer Cutlery is a collaborative project between Kizer and custom knifemaker Matt Cucchiara of Cucchiara Custom Knives. Sometimes the paths in life take one down unusual and unknown paths. Encountered with strange tests, the Hustler will keep strong that “go-getter” spirit till the goal is within grasp. Equipped with the ball bearing pivot system, the Hustler’s wide blade swings out and is ready in an instant. The handle provides perfectly fitting ergonomics with its thin profile and features smooth finish surface or with the designer’s signature engraving proudly displayed. It features a 3.6″ stonewashed CPM-S35VN blade with an organic recurved shape and sharpening choil. The bearing pivot system allows for smooth blade opening, as with all Kizer knives. The matte silver finished titanium handles are some of the most comfortable we’ve ever held with a slightly curved, ergonomic shape. Every surface and every edge is contoured for comfort and gives the knife a very high-class look and feel. We especially like the wide look of the blade versus the thin handle – gives you the reassuring feeling that this knife means business. It features a replaceable steel lockbar insert that doubles as an overtravel preventer and comes with a tip up carry, milled titanium pocket clip.

Kizer uses high-tech wire EDM machines to cut the parts. This method is slower than laser or water jet but feel quality is worth the wait. Each component in Kizer knives are precision machined and engineered to the finest tolerances. The final fit, finish, action and sharpness of each knife are achieved entirely by hand, employing the irreplaceable craftsmanship developed by generations of cutler masters.
