Designed by Jim O’Young, a retired mechanical design engineer and competitive shooter, the 912 Synergy 2 utilizes cutting-edge technology to enhance its functionality. Leveraging SolidWorks, a state-of-the-art 3D solid modeling CAD software, Jim created the SpeedTech Synergy folding knife, which introduced several groundbreaking design elements in the cutlery industry. Features such as an ergonomic, fully 3D digitally sculpted handle machined from a single billet, a captive floating bearing system, and an innovative button lock mechanism set this knife apart from traditional designs.

On the 20th anniversary of the original Synergy design, Jim proudly partners with WE Knife to introduce the re-engineered Synergy 2, carrying forward a legacy of innovation for the next generation of knife enthusiasts.
