Spyderco Manix 2 Plain Edge Folding Knife
Experience the ultimate fusion of precision, durability, and innovation with the Spyderco Manix 2 – a folding knife engineered for those who demand excellence in every cut. Crafted meticulously in Golden, Colorado, this knife embodies American ingenuity and superior craftsmanship, delivering a tool that’s as reliable on tough jobsites as it is impressive in everyday carry.
At the heart of the Manix 2 lies Spyderco’s patented Ball Bearing Lock, a revolutionary mechanism that sets new standards in locking performance. This hardened, free-floating ball bearing housed in a hi-tech polymer cage ensures the blade locks smoothly and securely with unwavering confidence. Unlike traditional locks, it self-adjusts over time, maintaining a solid grip no matter how hard you work or how often you use it.
The blade itself is forged from premium S30V high-carbon stainless steel, renowned for its exceptional edge retention and corrosion resistance. It features a sleek flat grind, perfectly balanced with aggressive thumb serrations—also known as jimping—right above the iconic oversized 14mm Spyderco Round Hole. This thoughtful design boosts your control and makes one-handed opening effortless, even with gloves.
Comfort and control are paramount in the Manix 2’s design. Its G-10 handle scales are anchored with full steel liners that not only guarantee lightweight rigidity but are also meticulously jimped along the edges. This texture extends beyond the contours of the handle, giving you a firm, slip-resistant grip whether working in wet conditions or wearing gloves.
Versatility and practicality come standard with a reversible, three-screw clip designed for deep, comfortable carry—tailored for both left and right hand users. And to top it off, the large lanyard pipe safeguards your cords or thongs, adding another layer of convenience for outdoor and tactical applications.
With the Spyderco Manix 2 in your hands, you’re wielding not just a knife, but a reliable partner engineered for excellence—built to stand firm through every challenge and elevate every cutting task.
