OPINEL NO6 STAINLESS STEEL FOLDING KNIFE
Opinel knives company was established in the French Alps’ heart in 1890 by passionate inventor Joseph Opinel. They are the famous manufacturer of folding and pocket knives that are robust and functional. They are known for their excellence and simplicity. DESCRIPTION
Opinel No6 is the smallest model that features the Virobloc safety ring. This little knife is non-threatening and very durable. It is small enough to be place in a pocket or purse and will “deliver” when needs are. The nobility of the oak in a N°06 Ideal for outdoor activities and sports, the N°06 is also practical and efficient for daily manual work (small crafts and sewing). Its size particularly suits the pettiest hands.
Safety ring:
Invent by Marcel Opinel in 1955, the Virobloc safety ring fits all folding knives from the N° 06. Cut out of stainless steel, the Virobloc also has two sections, one fixed and one sliding. In addition to locking the blade open (safety in use), it is now possible to lock the blade close (safety in transport).
