Microtech L.U.D.T.® S/E Gen III Natural Clear Apocalyptic Standard – 1136-10APNC

The Microtech L.U.D.T.® S/E Gen III Natural Clear Apocalyptic Standard is a refined evolution of a legendary folding knife platform, redesigned for modern everyday carry, outdoor use, and high-performance utility. While preserving the iconic LUDT silhouette, this Gen III update enhances ergonomics, deployment speed, and overall reliability through precision engineering and upgraded materials.

The handle features a natural clear anodized aluminum construction with integrated 3M® traction tape inserts, providing a secure, slip-resistant grip in all environmental conditions. The ergonomic contouring ensures comfortable handling during extended use, while maintaining a lightweight and durable structure suitable for daily carry.

The 3.51-inch blade is crafted from premium Böhler M390MK stainless steel, offering exceptional edge retention, corrosion resistance, and long-term durability. Finished in an apocalyptic coating, the blade delivers a rugged, low-reflective appearance while helping to conceal wear from heavy use. Its design balances slicing efficiency with piercing capability for versatile real-world performance.

A high-grade bearing pivot system enables ultra-smooth, rapid deployment with minimal effort, ensuring consistent one-handed operation. Once deployed, the blade locks securely into place for confident use during demanding cutting tasks.

Maintenance is simplified through the use of Torx hardware, allowing easy disassembly and servicing without specialized tools. This user-friendly design ensures long-term serviceability in both field and home environments.

At 8 inches overall and weighing just under 9 ounces, the L.U.D.T. Gen III offers a balanced combination of portability and strength. Designed and manufactured in the USA, it reflects Microtech’s commitment to precision craftsmanship, durability, and real-world performance.
