The Ki5465A1 Compadre flipper by Kizer Cutlery is a collaborative project between Kizer and custom knifemaker Matt Cucchiara of Cucchiara Custom Knives. A loyal friend at your side, the Compadre stands ready to see you through all your troubles and celebrate all the good times with abandon! Despite the large size, the Compadre remains a lightweight and comfortable user anytime. It features a 4″ stonewashed CPM-S35VN blade with an organic recurved shape and finger choil. The bearing pivot system allows for smooth blade opening, as with all Kizer knives. The matte silver finished titanium handles are some of the most comfortable we’ve ever held. Every surface and every edge is contoured for comfort and gives the knife a very high-class look and feel. It features a replaceable steel lock bar insert that doubles as an overtravel preventer and comes with a tip-up carry, milled titanium pocket clip.

Kizer uses high-tech wire EDM machines to cut the parts. This method is slower than laser or water jet but feels the quality is worth the wait. Each component in Kizer knives are precision machined and engineered to the finest tolerances. The final fit, finish, action and sharpness of each knife are achieved entirely by hand, employing the irreplaceable craftsmanship developed by generations of cutler masters.
