His lifelong fascination with weaponry led him to craft his first knife in 1984, and after a varied career path, he became a full-time knifemaker in 1997. Deryk’s unique style and exceptional quality in folder knives made him the perfect collaborator for Tony Marfione on the second Munroe/Marfione collaboration knife: the Cypher.

The Microtech Cypher returns as a fan-favorite OTF, now enhanced with cutting-edge advancements on the original design. This updated Cypher redefines the standards of out-the-front (OTF) technology, featuring Microtech’s innovative dual-fuel drivetrain that delivers effortless actuation with the smoothest action ever seen on an OTF knife.

The jimping on the chassis adds both style and superior grip, while the 6Al4V titanium pocket clip with ceramic detent provides secure and convenient carry options.
